Alan Pawlowski

At Pace, I lead a team that offer a comprehensive range of strategic Merger, Acquisition, and Divestiture (M&A) services along with Business Strategy and Turnaround advisory consulting.

In the M&A space, we have helped business owners nationwide prepare for and grow their business through acquisition as well as exit their business through succession, management buyout or third-party sale.

In the Advisory Consulting space, we have worked with businesses and business owners through a myriad of operational and financial challenges, strategies, goals, business and personal pivots, as well as providing entrepreneurial coaching to leaders and their teams.

I have recently co-authored a book, Mission Matters (edition #6), focusing on the enterprise value of a business and its importance for entrepreneurs. A topic that cannot be over emphasized.

I hold an MBA, MPA and CM&AA Designation (Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor). I am also a graduate of the 2001 UB CEL Core Class and 2006 Advanced CEL class and currently Facilitate a UB CEL Mastery Entrepreneurs peer group.

In business, change is inevitable. All business owners have challenges and goals arise as the necessity for change presents itself. We use a simple three step process throughout: 1) Goal Assessment, 2) Gap Analysis and 3) Option Creation. At all times, and most importantly, we focus on what a successful outcome looks like for the entrepreneur with our professional compass always pointing north.

Having served as partner with the role of Chief Financial and Operating Officer for a multi-site, Licensed Home Care Agency, Sean brings a deep understanding of the challenges facing the proprietor, including the coordination of services across the post-acute and delivery-at-home environment, navigating ever changing Home Care regulatory and financial requirements, adjusting business models to payer and patient needs, and ultimately translating those changes into the successful day-to-day operations of a large organization.
